Rimadesio was founded in 1956 in Brianza, the heart of Italian furniture design, and has become a world reference for contemporary glass and aluminium interior systems. With design direction by Giuseppe Bavuso, the company holds a very particular place in the industry: neither a furniture brand nor a kitchen brand, but the engineer of the architectural elements that shape a home — sliding doors, walk-in closets, boiserie and storage walls.

Rimadesio sliding doors and partitions, such as the Velaria family, are a favourite of minimalist architecture: they divide spaces without visual interruption, run floor-to-ceiling and integrate flush with the walls. The walk-in closet systems combine slim aluminium structures with drawers, accessories and integrated lighting, while boiserie and storage systems let designers clad entire walls in one coherent composition of open shelving and closed volumes.

Glass is the brand's signature material — lacquered, ribbed, etched or transparent — combined with aluminium in a wide palette of finishes. Production takes place in Italy, with a strong focus on recyclable materials and on environmental responsibility across the whole manufacturing process.
