Sub-Zero is the American benchmark for built-in domestic refrigeration. It was founded in 1945 in Madison, Wisconsin, by Westye F. Bakke, who built his first freezer in his own basement. In 1955 the company introduced one of the first built-in refrigerators, permanently changing the kitchen. Eight decades later Sub-Zero is still family-owned and designs and builds its appliances in the United States.

Its signature technology is dual refrigeration: separate cooling systems for the refrigerator and the freezer, so that each zone keeps its own precise temperature and humidity and odours never mix. The result is fresher food for longer — the reason Sub-Zero is chosen for kitchens where ingredients matter.

The range covers built-in refrigerators and freezers in many configurations, fully integrated columns hidden behind matching cabinet fronts, the professional-style PRO series and dedicated wine storage with precise temperature zones and UV-protected glass.

Sub-Zero is the sister brand of Wolf (cooking appliances) and Cove (dishwashers), together equipping many of the finest kitchens in the world.

For architects, designers and private clients specifying the permanent, technical heart of a premium kitchen, Sub-Zero is the reference: engineered to outlast trends and to protect ingredients with precision. Plan your Sub-Zero installation with the Moda Bagno – Interni kitchen team.
