Poliform

Poliform was born in 1970 in Inverigo, in the heart of Italy's Brianza furniture district, when three cousins — Alberto Spinelli, Aldo Spinelli and Giovanni Anzani — transformed a small craft workshop into an industrial manufacturer with a fundamentally new ambition: to bring the rigour of Italian industrial design to the complete domestic environment. Half a century later, Poliform is one of the most influential names in contemporary luxury interiors, equally respected for its living collections, its wardrobe systems, and its Poliform|Varenna kitchens.

The brand's signature is a disciplined modern language — long horizontal lines, whispered materials, restrained palettes — executed with industrial precision. Collaborations with architects and designers such as Jean-Marie Massaud, Paola Navone, Carlo Colombo, Marcel Wanders and Rodolfo Dordoni have produced a library of icons: the Mondrian and Bristol sofas, the Saint Germain and Onda armchairs, the Big Bed, and the Concept Wall partition systems. Today Poliform|Varenna produces architect-grade kitchens such as Twelve, Phoenix, Alea and Artex, competing directly with the most respected German and Italian kitchen houses while retaining an Italian softness of proportion and material. The brand's partnership with Minotti, Flexform, Cassina and B&B Italia on major residential towers from New York to Dubai has cemented its status as a specification standard for global architecture practices.
