Fukuoka, Hill top Villa by Minotti

Located on a rugged promontory on the northern coast of the Japanese island of Kyushu, this residence offers a striking contrast between the rigorous contemporary style of the architecture, which blends with the refined aesthetics of Minotti’s furnishing pieces, and the unspoilt green oasis that surrounds it.

The project stands out for the characteristic geometry of its volumes, which seem to float above the trees, fitting into a beautiful natural setting, visible through the large full-height windows.

In this perceptive continuum with the outdoors, the living area is designed as an airy open-space, completely devoid of architectural interruptions, alternating solutions designed for moments of intimacy with more convivial areas.

An original corner composition of the Alexander seating system by Rodolfo Dordoni brings the living area to life, while the comfort of his Russell bergère is the ideal haven from which to enjoy the view of the surrounding landscape in total relaxation.

Next to the living room is the dining area, where the spotlight is on hospitality thanks to the sculptural presence of the Wedge table by Nendo, its visual lightness combined with that of the Mills seats by Rodolfo Dordoni.
The brightness of the atmosphere is softened in the cosy corner that embraces the warmth of the fireplace, becoming an intimate refuge in which to relax on the Torii armchairs by Nendo, in a Dark Brown shade.A project with a strong visual impact in which the purity of the architectural style meets the understated elegance of the furnishing pieces by Minotti.
