RODA was founded in 1989 in Gavirate, on Lake Varese in northern Italy, with a precise ambition: to design outdoor furniture with the discipline, proportion and material sophistication of Italian interior design. At a time when the outdoor market was dominated by generic teak and aluminium, RODA set out to win over the same architects and designers who were shaping contemporary interiors — and today it is regarded as one of the most refined outdoor brands in Europe.

Its visual language is immediately legible: clean horizontal lines, generous tailored cushions, tactile outdoor fabrics in warm neutrals, slim powder-coated frames and woven details that recall Italian craft traditions. Collections such as Network, Harbour, Eden, Teka and Root are modular and generous in scale, designed by names such as Rodolfo Dordoni and Gordon Guillaumier.
